We took a trip this past weekend (actually it was Sunday through Thursday) to Las Vegas.
We brought our 4 year old daughter and caravaned up there (from where we live in Los Angeles which is about a 4 hour drive) with my sister in law and her two boys (ages 5 & 11) and their friend who is also 11. My sister in law’s two sisters and one of their husbands also joined us.

It was nice because we had plenty of babysitters at night while my better half and I went and did a little gambling to the wee hours.
Some of the hotels do offer childcare facilities: Las Vegas Hotels w/Childcare Facilities
We stayed at the New York New York hotel/casino and during the day we took the kids to the arcade inside the hotal as well as Game Works which is across the street.
Game Works is heaven on earth for the kids and has more interactive video games than you could possibly imagine! Game Works, Las Vegas

To top things off, a friend of my wife’s is a limo driver and picked us all up in a stretch hummer limo and ferried us around town for a couple of hours. He dropped us off in the promenade downtown for about an hour to watch the light show. The kids were absolutely enthralled by the whole experience. In the excitement, we neglected to bring the camera with us to record the event….oh well.
Good Times!!!
