Yes, I’m afraid Roley-Poley fever has descended upon our household…
Each day is a new adventure to collect as many of the little pills as she can and even asks to take them to bed with her at night.
Of course we say uh-uhWe explain to her that if she doesn’t return them to their natural habitat in the garden, they will die.
She insists that she doesn’t like dead Roley-Poleys.
She awakes these days excited at the prospect of finding more Roley-Poleys at preschool and when she gets home. She’s realized that they seem to congregate under large stones and blocks in the moist dirt. She has to enlist help from bigger people most of the time in turning these over.
She has no problem getting her hands dirty for a worthwhile cause!
Needless to say, we’re quite amuzed with her daily conquests to seek out the little guys.

Unfortunately, her collections have to be returned to the garden each day.
At least by now she understands why
Too cute!!!!! Your little girl is beautiful. Too funny that she likes to collect roley poleys. I did when I was little too. My little girl runs screaming in the other direction! Jen
Hi Jen.
Thanks for commenting. She’s our little adventurer. She just can’t seem to get enough of those little pill bugs. She likes lady bugs as well. That’s funny that you collected them when you were little and your little one wants nothing to do with them!
They are all independent little souls aren’t they?
