He’s Certifiably DRIVING Us Crazy!!!

For the past couple of years we’ve been dealing with a new driver in the form of our eighteen year old son.

Four side panel scrapes and

one totaled car later,

Mr. Know-it-all still

maintains he knows what he’s doing.

He just doesn’t pay attention and is very easily distracted.

When you try to teach him something, he gets all defensive!

Because of these chain of misfortunes with his car, he’s been without transportation and has been taking the bus to college (which is about 15 miles away) for the past 6 months.

He recently purchased another car and is ready to hit the streets again.

We really hope that this time around he’s learned a valuable lesson.

Fortunately, when he totaled his car, there were no other vehicles involved and nobody was hurt and there was no property damage as well.

He got off really easy!

At least he appears to be humbled by what’s happened up to this point.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed….

  1. You have a son in college and a 4 year old?? I can’t even begin to think about my kids becoming teens and driving. Time goes by way too fast…
My fingers are crossed for you guys too! Jen

I know Jen. Quite an age gap. Actually, my son is from my first marriage however; he’s been with us full time since he was 10 and my wife has pretty much been his mother. My son has actually been a pretty good kid overall. We’re quite thankful for that. He’s never been into drugs, drinking or partying or anything like that. He’s just had some issues with driving and his attention. I think he finally gets it. He’s been accident free for a while now…knock on wood!!!

    Take care.
    Jeff
